    How to Cook

    Dry roast the daliya over low heat for 3-5 minutes
    In a pressure cooker stir fry jeera, onion, mustard seeds and other vegetables and spices of your choice
    For sweet porridge, spices and vegetables can be replaced with sugar/jiggery and nuts
    Add the roasted daliya and stir it completely before sealing the lid
    Cook upma over low heat for 2 whistles before serving it warm
