How to Cook
Rinse a cup of chana dal in water before draining it out
Put the dal in a bowl and soak it in water for an hour
Drain the water before adding it in a pressure cooker and add pinch of turmeric powder along with water
Pressure cook the dal for 7-8 whistles until it becomes soft
Add the butter/ghee tadka with spices and vegies of your choice
